At the recent Citizenship Day, year 7′s found out how what they wear, use and eat in their everyday lives connects them to their brothers and sister overseas. Led by CAFOD schools volunteer John Birbeck they discussed ‘why, in countries that produce so much, is there so much poverty?”, what CAFOD does and what they, as young people, can do to help.
They were also filmed as they passed on messages of peace and solidarity to CAFOD’s partners overseas as part of the ‘Pass it on’ campaign. Watch out for videos soon!
