Students from Yr 13 attended a CAFOD workshop on lifestyles and influence. Students looked at the influence they have, whether at home, school or in the wider world – and this ranged from “holding the Sky+ remote” to voting in local and national elections! We then looked at people who had been an influence in their lives. Again, there was a cross section of responses – how Jesus influences people of faith and none, to bands who influenced the clothes they wear and the people they socialise with.
We then looked at the influence the church has in world affairs and with its followers.
A short discussion on climate change led finally to a mass hand print session.
