CAFOD Brentwood (via Elm Park) to send first action card to David Cameron!

David Cameron has been in No 10 for less than a day but he will soon be receiving a campaign action card from CAFOD Brentwood!

Confirmation candidates at St Alban parish, Elm Park, were the first group to take part in the latest campaign action: “Act on Poverty”. The signing came at the end of a session on becoming more active members of the church and thinking about their lifestyle choices and how this affects others around the world.

new campaign card

We need to make sure that tackling global poverty is top of the to-do list for the incoming Prime Minister. This spring we’re launching a new action card asking the Prime Minister to act on climate change, aid and making business work for the poor. You can read more about these issues here. The action card and support resources will be available towards the end of May.
