St Angela’s School, Forest Gate, raise over £2000 during Lent

Volunteer Des Howells, students and Head Mark Johnson

CAFOD volunteer, Des Howells, was delighted to be invited to visit St Angela’s School to receive a cheque for £2194.23, raised during Spring and Lent. Des in turn presented a certificate and letter from CAFOD’s director, Chris Bain, to the school for their fundraising efforts. Activities included: cake and other food sales, quizzes and competitions, raffles, loose change collections, and a non-uniform day.

We would like to thank the students, staff and parents of St Angela’s for their generosity and continued support for CAFOD’s work.
