St Joseph the Worker School, Hutton – Coins for CAFOD

Class 4 with their coins

Class 4 of St Joseph the Worker School, Hutton, raised money for a World Gift by bringing in change to cover the letters of CAFOD. Each class table had a letter to fill.

The children raised £60 and are now deciding which World Gift to buy.

Thank you to Mrs Kania one of the class teachers for sending the photo.

If you have a child starting school or university in September, you might like to offer the gift of a “school starter pack” to provide a child in the developing world with all the essentials they need to attend school – pens, books, a daily meal, uniform and school fees. For just £7 this gift makes a huge difference.

Look here to find out about the school starter pack and to see other World Gifts that are available.
