Holy Name Parish Chelmsford Connect2:Rwanda

Parish volunteer, Cathie Wickham, writes:

“On 5th December, on of our parishioners, Jane Parker, held a “nearly new” toy sale after Mass. Her children had loads of toys they had grown out of, and hopefully would receive more at Christmas. To make room for anything Santa might bring they decided to sell their old toys and give the proceeds to the people of Musha to help them have a happier future. This was a lovely idea and a huge number of toys, games and books were offered for sale and eagerly snapped up.

Jane and Grace

At the end of the sale, Jane and her daughter Grace took £70 with more promised. After Christmas we were able to bank a sum of £90.40.”

On behalf of the community of Musha, thank you!
