Canon Palmer, Seven Kings go International

At the end of the school year staff and pupils hold an annual International Evening to celebrate their culture and background through food, dance and drama.

Gina Semambo and Melissa Betsy

This year the year 8’s ran a CAFOD stall selling resources and collecting small change for the CAFOD East Africa Appeal. Nearly £100 was raised on the night and the collection will continue until John Birbeck, CAFOD schools volunteer visits the school to run a workshop on Wealth and Poverty with year 10’s.

Sr Anne and the cake stall

Thank you to Ms Semamdo, Sr Anne, Sue Judge from the RE Department and head girl Melissa Betsy who helped collect money and give out stickers and to everyone at Canon Palmer for their support. Happy holidays.
