MP Correspondents visit Speaker’s House

Last night several MP correspondents from the Brentwood diocese attended a Reception in the State Rooms, Speaker’s House, in the House of Commons.

The Reception was hosted by the Chair of the Parliamentary Friends of CAFOD, the Rt Hon Tom Clarke CBE MP, and attended by several MPs and CAFOD Trustees.

It was a lovely evening and an opportunity to meet and thank MP correspondents from around the country.

It was a great event last evening and I enjoyed meeting people I have known for a long time e.g. someone who was trained same time as I was to speak in Church. I am grateful to CAFOD for the opportunity to be of service to others and live my faith. Des Howells

Margaret Hodge MBE (Lab) – Barking
Iain Duncan Smith (Con) – Chingford and Woodford Green
Jon Cruddas (Lab) – Dagenham and Rainham
Robert Halfon (Con) – Harlow
