EVENTS: strolling, abseiling, cycling – something for everyone!

We’ve just put our Events Calendar in place for the coming months and there really is something for everyone.

Family Walk – Hanningfield Reservoir, nr Billericay, Wednesday 9 April 11am

2013 walk

2013 walk

Back by popular demand, this is a lovely opportunity for an easy stroll through the beautiful woods surrounding Hanningfield Reservoir. There’s no rush and plenty of time to explore the bird hides along the route. It’s a great place for the children to let off steam during the Easter holiday and they can follow a treasure trail as they go.

At the end of the walk there is a family picnic (bring your own!) and games.

No need to book, just meet at the Visitors Centre around 11am. Adults £5 donation, children free. The walk is fully accessible but sorry, no dogs.

This annual event is held in solidarity with the 1 in 8 people who go to bed hungry each night.
