R.S. Department- Report on Lenten Charities
“During the Lenten period the school has been fundraising for CAFOD. Activities have included cake sales, leg waxing, hair braiding, nail painting, tombolas, guessing games, onesie fun runs, treasure hunts, candy floss sales, busking in school, sponsored silences, make-up activities, making and selling popcorn and CAFOD Fairs in RS lessons and Year 10/11 empathy walks with the LEDC countries.
Special commendations for pupils who have undertaken individual/group initiatives raising funds go to Richard Crossland 9C and James Frankish 7A, Richard for his Cake Sale raising over £100, and James for his Leg Waxing experience. The total prior to the Easter holiday was £3,856.06 and there have been some late additions to this total. We would like to thank staff, parents and pupils who have supported our endeavours.”
