All Saints Student Pedals against Poverty.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES Rebecca Huston a year 9 student from All Saints, Dagenham, took part in the Pedal against Poverty Bike ride at the weekend and said it was much easier to cycle 20 miles than to take part in the school’s annual sponsored silence for CAFOD! Rebecca and her father John were amongst 150 riders who enjoyed a leisurely cycle through the beautiful lee Valley and down the canal to Broxbourne. We also welcomed from the Brentwood Dicoese the Vaughn family from Maldon and the Edwards family from South Ockendon who had their own ‘support Crew’ in the form of John who followed on by car to bring lunch and encouragement!
Thanks to all the volunteers from the Westminster and Brentwood Dioceses who made the day possible
